What we collect

Only what you type into an enquiry form: your name, your email address, the city you gave and the message. Nothing is required beyond a name and an email, and the form does not ask for a phone number or an address.

The page you sent the form from travels with it, so the reply knows which collection you were reading. Your internet address is seen by the hosting provider while the request is handled and is not stored by us.

Why we have it

To answer you. An enquiry is answered by a person, and answering it needs the message and a way to send the answer back. That is the only lawful basis we rely on.

We do not build a mailing list out of enquiries, we do not sell addresses and we do not pass them to anyone except the services named below, which are needed to deliver the message.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this site, serves its pages and runs the bot check on the form. Resend delivers the message from the form to our inbox. Google Analytics counts visits in aggregate and is not used to identify anyone.

Each of those companies processes the data under its own terms and only for the job named here. No advertising network is loaded on this site and there are no third party trackers.

How long it stays

Enquiry emails stay in the inbox for two years, which is roughly the life of an outdoor furniture project from first question to installation, then they are deleted. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and holds no name or address.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Write to [email protected] and we answer within thirty days. If you are in California you can also ask whether your information was sold or shared: it was not, and it will not be.

Children

This site is for people buying furniture and is not directed at children under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects what we do with existing enquiries is announced in the reply to that enquiry, not only here.
