A list of Italian outdoor furniture brands tells you names. It does not tell you who builds the frame, who drew it, or how the piece reaches an American terrace. Here are five questions that sort the list, answered for Talenti.
Search for Italian outdoor furniture brands and you get a list of names with a logo each. Talenti sits on some of those lists and is missing from others. A name tells you little. The factory in Amelia, Umbria, the designers and the paperwork tell you more.
Start with the plant
Italian furniture is a broad label. Some brands design in Italy and build elsewhere. Some assemble in Italy from parts made abroad. Ask where the factory welds, cuts or turns the frame, and where someone checks it before it ships.
Talenti works out of a former Federici pasta factory in Amelia. The company bought the site in 2018: more than 80,000 square meters, 20,000 of them under a roof, with offices, a logistics hub, a 2,000 square meter showroom and a department for assembly and inspection. Talenti did not start in outdoor furniture. The Cameli family had cut marble since 1945, and Fabrizio Cameli founded Talenti in 2004 with inlaid marble tables for gardens.
That origin still shows in the tops. The catalog uses porcelain stoneware, glazed lava stone, marble and terrazzo, the surfaces a stone workshop knows how to finish.

Talenti Allure by Christophe Pillet. The frame is accoya wood on aluminum feet, and the cushions come in several sizes that you can recombine.
Look at who draws the collections
A brand that works with named designers gives you a way to judge the catalog before you see a piece in person. You can look at what the same hand drew for others and decide whether you like it.
Talenti has added designers in steps, and the timeline below follows the factory's own account. Two collections show the range well.
Talenti Cliff is the work of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. It has 20 pieces: six living armchairs, five tables, two sofas and a modular sofa among them. The frames are aluminum, and the backs come in woven nautical rope or in fabric. The modular sofa runs from a corner piece of 100 by 100 cm to a lounge module of 134 by 155 cm, so you can build an L, a U or a straight run. See the Cliff collection.
Talenti Allure is by Christophe Pillet, who joined between 2020 and 2023. Thin aluminum feet carry a frame in accoya wood, a softwood treated to stay stable outside. The three seat sofas measure 280 to 290 cm long depending on the arm you choose, fabric or wood. See the Allure collection.

Ask how the piece reaches you
This is where brands differ most for an American buyer, and where lists of names help least. An Italian sofa crosses an ocean, clears customs and has to meet American rules on the way.
Upholstered seating sold here needs a TB 117-2013 flammability label on the cushion. Any shipment with wood needs a Lacey Act declaration that names the species and the country of harvest. Seating and other furniture come in under chapter 94 of the tariff schedule, and the duty depends on the exact code. We do not publish duty rates here because they change, and a broker confirms the code for your pieces before the order ships.
